SPIn Security Update to TLS 1.2

SPIn Security Update To TLS 1.2

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Dear Valued iPOS SPIn Proxy User,

It is our commitment to service your customers in the most secure environment for connection of your software during SPIn Proxy (Semi-Integration) requests.

Currently we accept older security connections along with the latest security connections to port 80, to include regular HTTP at the same time with secure HTTPS connections supported protocols SSL, TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2.

To increase the level of security requirements to SPIn connections, we will close the older HTTP connection and outdated protocols like SSL and TLS 1.1 and will keep open only TLS 1.2.

These changes will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 5th, 2019. As of this date, the access point for POS/ECR application, which is: https://spinpos.net will support only TLS 1.2 connections. It is important to note that these changes will take effect only to POS/ECR applications.

To be sure that your POS/ECR application supports the TLS 1.2 connection you may use our temporary test access point for SPIn Proxy @ https://tls.spinpos.net – this access point supports only TLS 1.2 connections and has been created for testing purposes only. Please, be sure that you do not use the test access point on a permanent basis. It will be removed on Nov. 5th, when we put the live change into place for the main access point which is: https://spinpos.net.

Sincerely,

iPOS Systems
